Dr. Chad Paterra completed both undergraduate and dental school at West Virginia University. While in dental school, he was awarded the William Reed Butler Scholarship for excellence in research and was selected to present that research at the American Dental Association’s national meeting in 2012.
Upon graduation from dental school, Dr. Paterra completed a one-year residency at the WVU School of Dentistry in the Department of Periodontics. During this time, he learned how to perform advanced dental surgeries, with an emphasis on dental implant placement and restoration. He has been a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Greater Charlotte Seattle Study Club, and the Academy of Osseointegration.
As a child he showed interested in science and healthcare. His favorite activities were always related to art and mechanical work—very hands on—so as a great combination of the two, dentistry was a clear path for him from the start.
He was drawn to the Charlotte area because it has so many lakes and outdoor activities, plus he loves being a short drive away from both the mountains and the beach. He loves working at Reimels because he loves his colleagues and enjoys learning and collaborating with them. Dr. Paterra uses his dental skills for good through the Ada Jenkins Dental Bus, which travels around Charlotte providing free dental work to those who cannot afford to properly maintain their oral health.
Dr. AnnMarie Moshos graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Biology. She then completed dental school at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine where she graduated at the top of her class. After, she joined the United States Air Force and was deployed to Africa where she served as a dentist in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. She was drawn back to Charlotte after this experience to be close to her family again. Recently she completed a nine month continuing education Maxi Course and is a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and the Greater Charlotte Seattle Study Club.
Dr. Moshos specializes in sedation dentistry; but loves general dentistry because it allows her to practice surgery while continuing to have her hands in all aspects of dentistry. Her favorite thing about being a part of Reimels is getting to work in such a soothing, relaxing atmosphere and with such great colleagues.
Outside of the office she loves finding new adventures and outdoor activities like climbing and hiking. She has a passion for travel and has visited 33 countries and counting!
Dr. Meredith Stalnaker wanted to be a dentist from the time she was seven years old. She grew up in West Virginia and completed both her undergraduate and dental school degrees at West Virginia University. WVU provided the opportunity for her to perform more extractions and complex dental procedures than many other schools. Dr. Stalnaker then completed a year of residency in Memphis at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and was a part of their Advanced Education General Dentistry program (AEGD). She practiced in Memphis for almost two years when Dr. Stalnaker was presented with the opportunity to move to Charlotte and took it to be closer to her family. She loves working at Reimels because of the great atmosphere and the friendliness of all staff members towards each other and every patient.
Dr. Stalnaker enjoys dentistry because it allows her to spend so much time around people and she loves the opportunity to change people’s lives through their smiles. She also finds it rewarding to see someone in the dental chair and take away their pain the very same day. She is a member of the Greater Charlotte Seattle Study Club, Academy of General Dentistry, and specializes in crown and bridge work. Outside of the office she loves cheering on WVU basketball and football and working out at Jamie Scott Fitness.
